THOMAS F. FLYNN, III

Thomas Flynn, EsqThomas F. Flynn, III, is the founding shareholder of  Flynn & Associates, P.C.  He is an accomplished attorney admitted to the New Jersey Bar with more than 34 years of litigation experience in both civil and criminal law, representing those injured in complex personal injury cases including motor vehicle / trucking collisions; traumatic brain injuries; premise liability; medical malpractice; products liability; professional  malpractice including engineering, architectural and legal; construction workplace injuries and workers compensation job injuries and representing healthcare providers in various managed care disputes with insurance carriers.

A native of South Jersey, Mr. Flynn attended high school at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken NJ and he began his legal education as an honors graduate from LaSalle University Philadelphia, PA and went on to  graduate from Widener University Law School in 1982 where he was a Board Officer of the Moot Court Honor Society (Runner-up in Moot Court Competition,1980) and a Member writer for the Delaware Law Forum.  Since law school he has spent years sharpening his litigation and negotiation skills. Mr. Flynn also has great experience in all forms of alternative dispute resolution. He has successfully participated in numerous trials, mediations and arbitrations, which have resulted in substantial victories for his clients. Whenever possible, Mr. Flynn seeks to spare his clients the expense and hardships of litigation. However, he is well-prepared to fight for them when necessary.

Mr. Flynn is a member of the New Jersey Bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Attorney Frank BrennanFrank P. ALFRED J. FALCIONE

Alfred J. Falcione, is an accomplished attorney admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars with more than 22 years of general civil and criminal litigation experience representing those injured in complex personal injury cases including medical malpractice: motor vehicle / trucking collisions; traumatic brain injuries; premise liability; products liability; construction workplace injuries;  professional  malpractice including engineering, architectural and legal.

Mr. Falcione was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  As a law student, he interned for the Honorable Frank Montemuro of the Superior & Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania.  Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Falcione joined the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial division.  It was within the halls and courtrooms of Philadelphia where Mr. Falcione honed his trial skills before beginning a career representing the rights of injured persons in numerous catastrophic injury cases as well as defending the constitutional rights of individuals accused of criminal activity.

Mr. Falcione’s ability to communicate to a jury and no-nonsense straight forward attitude has made him an extremely effective and successful attorney with numerous  million plus verdicts and settlements.  Most recently, Mr. Falcione secured a 6.9 million dollar verdict in Burlington County for a client who was electrocuted on top of a building owned by American Honda Corporation.

GARY F. PISERCHIA

Gary F. Piserchia is a seasoned civil litigation and trial attorney who has 33 years of experience in civil litigation. He has handled numerous complex litigation matters involving personal injuries and damages resulting from medical malpractice, automobile and trucking accidents, product liability, premises liability, dram shop liability, dog bites, slip and falls, brain injuries, burn injuries, wrongful employment termination, and wrongful death. He has successfully represented clients in well over 150 jury trials and obtained numerous settlements and resolutions over the years.

Mr. Piserchia was born and raised in Hillside, New Jersey. After graduating high school as a National Merit Finalist, he attended the University of Colorado where he graduated with Honors. In 1983, he graduated from the Dickinson School of Law “with distinction”. He shortly thereafter commenced his legal career concentrating solely on civil personal injury litigation and trials.

  • $261,000 Binding Arbitration award in a case wherein a young (21 -year-old) purchased a muscle building testosterone product identified as methyl-T at a gym. The product actually contained an illegal “fat burner” Clenbuterol. When the plaintiff ingested the product, he went into a semi-cardiac arrest resulting in ICU Hospitalization for approximately eight days. He was told that he was close to death and subsequently developed posttraumatic stress disorder which resulted in anxiety, depression, mood disorder, and panic attacks.
  • $250,000 Trial Verdict – dog bite resulting in left arm nerve damage in Burlington County New Jersey.
  • $240,000 Trial Verdict, Motorcycle Accident – Lumbar Herniated Disc in Ocean County New Jersey.

ELIZABETH D. BERENATO

Elizabeth D. Berenato has been admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars for 25 years. She is a Certified Civil Trial attorney receiving her Certification in 2009. She is a highly experienced Trial Attorney and has handled routine and complex cases and trials in the areas of personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, fall down accidents, product liability, medical malpractice, dog bite and dram shop litigation. She also concentrates in Social Security Disability, handling all aspects from Initial filings to Hearings and further Appeals to the Appeals Council. She is currently managing attorney of the Social Security Disability Department at Flynn & Associates, P.C.

Born in Moorestown, New Jersey, Ms. Berenato received her undergraduate degree, (B.A.) from Glassboro State College (Rowan), Cum Laude in 1986.  In 1990 she received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.  Ms. Berenato started her legal career in Atlantic City, New Jersey where she represented casinos and corporations in real estate transactions, commercial leases and event contracts. She thereafter, began working in the area of personal injury representing injured individuals in a variety of personal injury litigation.

Ms. Berenato is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Bars and United States District Court.

Other than practicing law, she enjoys activities with her family. Her true passion is boating. She has a great love of the ocean and all water sports.

MARY PAULA MILLERICK

Mary Paula Millerick, is an accomplished attorney admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar with more than 26 years of litigation experience in civil law.  Additionally, she is a Registered Nurse.  Ms. Millerick represents those injured in complex personal injury cases including motor vehicle / trucking collisions; traumatic brain injuries; premises liability; medical malpractice;  products liability; and, personal injury protection (PIP).

A native of Rhode Island, Ms. Millerick received her undergraduate degree from Rhode Island College, Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree, in 1981. In 1990 she received her Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University Law School, Delaware.

Ms. Millerick has great experience in all forms of litigation, negotiations and alternative dispute resolution. She has successfully participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations which have resulted in substantial settlements for her clients.

Prior to her legal career, Mary Paula earned her B.S. in Nursing and worked in an Ivy League affiliated teaching hospital in both staff and managerial nursing roles in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and surgical units.  When she relocated to the Delaware Valley for Law School, Mary Paula worked at The Medical Center of Delaware in their numerous critical care units in both Wilmington and Christiana teaching hospitals.

During law school, Mary Paula was a member of the international honor fraternity Phi Delta Phi and held several executive board positions. She was the Case Note Editor for the law school’s newspaper which had a circulation of over six thousand. At commencement Mary Paula was awarded an Outstanding Service Award given to 10 out of 250 graduates.

Beyond the Courtroom   

Other than the practice of law, which takes up a significant amount of her time, Mary Paula enjoys being with family and friends. She is a Literacy Volunteer Tutor and enjoys travel to the Caribbean and beyond. She lives with her chocolate Labrador Retriever, Kona, and rescue puppy DD in Camden County, New Jersey.

JASON S. WALKER

Jason S. Walker was admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars in 2010 and is currently an associate in the PIP litigation department of Flynn & Associates, P.C. Mr. Walker is currently a member of the PA and NJ Bar Associations.

Mr. Walker was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Northeast Catholic High School for Boys. He earned his undergraduate degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University, Philadelphia. Mr. Walker received his Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware.

Mr. Walker, prior to earning a law degree, worked in auto insurance claims for American Independent Insurance Company. He also worked in claims for State Farm Insurance Company where he became licensed physical damage appraiser. His prior insurance claims experiences included handling un/underinsured motorist claimant for AAA Mid-Atlantic Insurance Company, before being hired as an investigator in the Special Investigator’s Unit (SIU) of Unitrin Insurance Company. While working as an SIU investigator, Mr. Walker was a member of the International Association of Special Investigators (IASIU) and was also a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI).

Other pre-law affiliations and attributes included New Jersey Special Investigator Association (NJSIA), The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation, American Educational Institute – Casualty and Fraud and Claim Law Specialist and Associate in Claims as recognized by the Insurance Institute of America.

Mr. Walker has spent the majority of his legal career in the insurance fraud (SIU) and PIP fields, defending and prosecuting arbitrations and as such is extremely well versed in both New Jersey PIP law and the alternative dispute process. Recently concentration includes fraud investigation, consisting of analysis, prevention and litigation.

Wrongful Death – $925,000

A $925,000 settlement for the family of a man who died as a result of his doctor overprescribing fatal amounts of prescription pain medications. The doctor failed to provide any treatment for the patient and only prescribed painkillers that escalated each time the patient returned for visits.

Personal Injury – $900,000

A $900,000 settlement for a minor child who was seriously and permanently injured as a result of being run over by a forklift at a family member’s workplace, an industrial area where the child was not ever supposed to be near.

Personal Injury – $859,000

A $859,000 verdict in the case of a client who was struck by a recycling can that had become dislodged from the mechanical arms of the truck and then launched over the truck striking our client causing her to sustain an injury to her neck necessitating surgery.
